Florida State football fans donβt seem to be happy with the decision to make Ashton Daniels the starter at quarterback. However, head coach Mike Norvell looks for Ashton Daniels to prove the doubters wrong in 2026.
This is a pivotal year for Norvell, as he will be tasked with the play-calling duties. Personally, he has handled that responsibility for the majority of his coaching career and I expect him to excel in 2026. With that said, there should be a ton of positives to come from Daniels being named the starter: His dual-threat ability, veteran experience, dynamic performances against Vanderbilt and Alabama, and having an established starter in place before the summer.
