Isaac Sinsun is an inmate at the California Health Care Facility (CHCF), a state prison in Stockton, who's served 10 years of his 25-to-life sentence for murder. As part of the rehabilitative efforts at the CHCF is the BARK Program, a special program in which incarcerated individuals have the opportunity to raise future #servicedogs for Canine Companions through our prison puppy raising program. 🐕‍🦺 Since the launch of our prison puppy raising program in 1995, hundreds of incarcerated handlers from prisons across the country have made an impact by successfully raising our service dogs for people with disabilities.
