Get to Know” Part XIV: Our next coach in the spring sport edition of our Get to Know series features Varsity Girls Golf Coach, Brad Smith. Coach Smith is in his 3rd year as leader of the program and has been apart of several great individual and team performances on the course along the way. During his tenure, the team has finished 2nd and 3rd at their respective area tournaments the last two seasons, and in 2024 finished with a State Runner-Up finish (327). Coach Smith and the Lady Patriots begin postseason play today at Meadow Lakes Golf Club in Cedartown, Georgia and will look to qualify for the state tournament for a third straight year. Those that advance will compete at the State Tournament at Nob North Golf Club on May 18th-19th. We are thankful for Coach Smith for everything he’s done for our student-athletes in the classroom, on the course and wish him the best in retirement at season’s end!
