Exploring a country’s food is one of the many ways to experience a culture. Taking this cooking class hosted by @malecon663 was an experience I would always cherish. Cuba is not known as a gastronomical delight. If you know the history of Cuba, you probably know that imports of some foodstuffs are restricted due to the US embargo. Typical meals are made using local produce that is usually fresh and often organic. There are little to no processed food. For this class I made; A starter: Bean croquette Main: Pork confit in Creole mojo sauce with sweet potato puree. Dessert: Chocolate and avocado mousse I really loved the Pork confit in Creole mojo sauce with sweet potato puree. Cuban food is unique and definitely an acquired taste Would you try this? #wherenextella #thingstodoincuba #explorecuba #cubacookingclass #cookingexperiencecuba
