Another e-motorcycle story. Same bike. Two impounds. This time, deputies stopped a 16-year-old rider near McBean Parkway and recognized the bike… probably because we’ve impounded it before. That same e-motorcycle had already been taken for a 30-day impound. Now, it has been impounded for another 30 days. When deputies contacted the parent, they asked if the bike could just be taken for a day. No. At some point, this stops being a warning and starts becoming a choice. Parents who continue allowing minors to ride e-motorcycles illegally on public streets could face possible future criminal charges, including contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
