Two Arrested After Shoplifting in Stolen SUV Special Assignment Team (SAT) deputies were conducting patrol checks when they located a stolen Infiniti SUV in the parking lot of a local Home Depot. A man and woman exited the store with merchandise, entered the stolen SUV, and attempted to leave the parking lot. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and discovered the pair had not only arrived in a stolen vehicle, but had also allegedly stolen a handful of items, including flyswatters, plant food, bug spray, a Snickers bar, and succulents. A 41-year-old woman from Castaic was arrested on felony vehicle theft and misdemeanor shoplifting charges. Her 46-year-old male companion from San Fernando was arrested on misdemeanor shoplifting charges. Both were taken into custody without incident. #LASD #SCV #NotInSCV
