Half a pound of meth found during traffic stop in Canyon Country. A traffic stop Tuesday afternoon quickly turned into a narcotics investigation when SAT deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view, along with a large bag containing suspected methamphetamine. Approximately half a pound of meth was recovered, along with a digital scale, baggies, and other items consistent with sales. Both occupants were arrested. The driver, a 35-year-old male from Pomona, was booked for felony transportation for sales (narcotics). The passenger, a 66-year-old male from Covina, was booked for felony narcotics sales.
