If you’ve been following us for a while, you know how much I LOVE @VIOLETTE FR! Such a visionary artist! 👏 Beauty queens we nerded out hard over these. From the new style textures, to the story behind her “why,” to the manufacturing process..It was all so fun to talk through. What’s unique about these powders, and a trend we saw at Cosmoprof just a few weeks ago, is that they are done through a specific manufacturing procedure called extrusion, making them extruded powders. This process gives the eyeshadows a Play-Doh style texture which gives the formula that really fun, malleable feel. Similar to textures already on the market, and starting to see it branch out into other categories is really exciting! But what I loved most aside from this fun texture was that Violette wanted to create a sort of “negative space” of shimmer with matte base with just a tiny sprinkle of pearl.
