Back to 1992 and this classic clip from The Word where Oliver Reed was sat in his dressing room with a spy cam watching him for 45 minutes. Allegedly the producers left booze in there (Reed was a very well known alcoholic) When Oliver had been baited by a fake producer and a tiny soundman named "Lofty" it was time to get him up on stage. On stage he stumbled an slurred his words before getting up and belting out his own rendition of Wild Thing (The Troggs) and he was backed by Neds Atomic Dustbin throughout the performance.
