The simple pleasure of a completed home. In our Grade II listed Georgian townhouse we started with a very sad state affairs with a house that had been neglected and poorly refurbished over decades. Almost every original feature had been stripped out and replaced with poor imitations- plastic fake wood floors, chunky double glazed windows, inappropriate cornicing. Carefully we sourced every tiny detail so that it was authentic to the house’s context and age. Now it just feels like a calm backdrop to the eclectic and warm collection of furniture and beloved objects and plants that fill the room.
