Have you visited chromophore_artspace? This Black, woman-owned gallery is a creative hub that’s redefining what it means to experience art in Richmond. 🎨 This isn’t just a gallery, it’s a space to connect, reflect, and celebrate artistic expression from local and emerging creatives. Chromophore Artspace offers thought-provoking exhibitions, art workshops, soundbath sessions, artist talks, and more. The gallery was founded by Ayah Davis-Karim (ayah.davis) a mixed media artist with a background in architecture, interior design, and fashion. Through her study and practice of color theory, Ayah discovered the therapeutic effects of color, known as chromotherapy. Want to check it out? 👀 Follow to stay tapped in with rotating art exhibitions featuring emerging artists of color, creative classes, and workshops. 📍: 309 N.
