They are old school and are still expecting me to follow the 30/30/30 rule. But I'm trying to explain to them that a lot of times this rule doesn't work anymore because of specialized color services. Does anyone still follow the 30/30/30 rule for these services? As in 30 mins to apply/create, 30 mins to process (possibly doing another clients cut/style during this time) and 30 mins to finish the original client. I am still somewhat new to hairpainting and balayage.
