The trophies.
The titles.
The things people can see.
But those things are just the result.
The real measure of a man is the distance it took to get there.
The work you put in.
The miles you’ve traveled.
The setbacks you had to push through.
The challenges you had to overcome when quitting would’ve been easier.
In football you learn that pretty quickly. Respect isn’t given because of what you say. It’s earned because of the work people know you’ve put in.
Same thing in life.
The people I respect the most aren’t the ones with the biggest trophies. They’re the ones who kept showing up, kept grinding, and kept moving forward when things got hard.
That’s what earns real respect.
Not the trophies.
It’s the miles….
