On Wednesday, November 6th, Elon University alumnus Carter R. (2019) shared his journey from the Elon University School of Communications to his current role as Partnership Marketing Senior Account Executive with the Chicago Bulls! When Carter first started his job search, he didn't know which roles to apply for and was targeting senior manager positions. After applying to countless positions on TeamWork Online without responses, he learned the importance of being more strategic. He advises looking for associate-level positions to get your foot in the door and being intentional about the jobs you're applying to, rather than applying randomly. Building genuine connections within organizations is crucial. Carter's connection with someone at the Bulls led to an interview, which eventually resulted in an internship that turned into a full-time position.
