We're taking it back 38 years for part two of today's #Amtrak50 history! On this day in 1983, the tri-weekly Auto Train service began. Running from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL, this service became so popular it expanded to daily operation just the next year!
Today, the Auto Train continues to transport customers and their cars non-stop from the Washington, DC area to right outside Orlando, FL. 🚘☀️ #TheFutureRidesWithUs
