Girl Scouts at ABT! 🍪 #ABTEngagement welcomed an enthusiastic group of 2nd and 3rd grade Brownies to its first ever Girl Scouts of Greater NY Ballet Workshop! Working towards their Brownie Dancer Badge, the girlscoutsnyc Brownies enjoyed a ballet class with #ABTJKO School faculty member Courtney Cochran and a Ballet Heroine Workshop with ABT Teaching Artist Niki Kapanka. The Brownies explored female roles in ballet - huntress Sylvia from SYLVIA, the Cowgirl from RODEO, and the Lilac Fairy from THE SLEEPING BEAUTY by learning dance and pantomime and by creating strong huntress poses!
