After watching Society of the Snow on Netflix, which is about a real-life crash in the Andes, I never imagined I’d be flying over those same mountains. But there I was, staring out at the rugged peaks, my mind instantly flashing back to the show.
Every time I fly, I pray—especially when we hit turbulence. I remember my loved ones and just hope for the best.
The turbulence was a little scary, and I could tell some people around me, especially the kids, were nervous too. But I tried to stay calm, knowing I had to trust the process.
The pilots on
@latamairlines were incredible—flying over such high altitudes and dramatic mountains takes serious skill, and they made it feel smooth and safe.
I didn’t want to talk about it until I was home!
Even though I travel often, I know anything can happen, but I refuse to let that stop me. Life’s too short, and I want to live it to the fullest. So I keep flying, praying, and making memories.
