I had zero driving experience from India - the traffic there just freaked me out too much! I started learning here in March with a driving school and got 7 classes, but after just 4, I began practicing with Nikhil (not very patiently, I might add!). For almost five months, I practiced driving every other day, switching between driving school lessons and driving with him. It was nerve-wracking at times, but little by little, I got the hang of it. Today, I finally gave my G2 test and the examiner told me, “You’re really a good driver.” Honestly, it still feels a bit unreal! Driving was always on my radar back home, but moving here made me realize how important it is.
