Event #2 in the 2026 MABRA Road Series takes us to Montgomery County for the 30th edition of the Poolesville Road Race. The iconic Poolesville course is a ten-mile loop through rolling hills southwest of Poolesville, MD and features a 1.5-mile section of hard pack gravel on River Road. Registration is now open for several more events in the MABRA Road Series - Carl Dolan Memorial Classic on May 9 and Chocolate City Criterium on August 15. We have 18 racing categories in the MABRA Road Series. MABRA Road Series Champions in each category will be crowned based on their cumulative results across the eight Road Series events. Series winners will receive a championship jersey and free race entry to all 2027 Road Series events.  CORRECTION: Backyard Boogie on August 9, 2026 will be in a new location this year at the Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD.
