It’s intentional that I’m sharing this post a day after Mother’s Day. Back in 2016 when I decided to “start that silly blog of mine” focused on motherhood - sharing the unfiltered, vulnerable, and hard side of motherhood - I made a commitment to myself that motherhood would be celebrated, advocated for, & acknowledged unconditionally throughout the year. To share the thoughts, the struggles, and the joys with all of you & to receive the feedback that you have felt seen & heard validates that as a collective, we need each other.
