There’s no filter on this picture. It’s a raw moment of survival snapped by my 5 year old, Amia. Caught in a moment of just getting by. Caught in a moment of isolation. Caught in a moment of time that doesn’t make sense. Caught in a moment where I am touched out. Caught in a moment of uncertainty. Caught in a drowning moment of emotions. Just caught in some unstable times. We’re all feeling something. I for one can attest that being pulled in multiple directions and demands isn’t easy. Showing up isn’t easy. I’m doing it. But it’s not easy. Constantly adjusting and adapting, but to what end? If you’re a working mama, a stay at home mama, a new mama, a seasoned mama who’s just trying to make it through, just know that I see you. These times can be crippling and isolating. It’s hard, I know. There’s no solution, at least not right now - the best thing we can do is to stay connected and establish and grow in harmony and community. Holding an abundance of space for all...
