Giving back to community is such an important component of who I am and these are the values that I pass down to my girls. Last year, Amia and I went school shopping not just for her but for the purpose to provide new backpacks and school supplies to kids who are in need to support the minwaashinlodge. This year, I’m asking folks from our community who are able to help us with this back to school fundraiser. To help us give back even more! This is the power of community. I’ve teamed up with sankofaconsultantsgroup to host this fundraiser in collaboration with thevillageprojectottawa to support once again the Minwaashin Lodge - Indigenous Women’s Support Centre.
