BLASPHEMY. 😲 That’s not the point (although thanks, hubby), here’s the real point: Before kids, Matt and I used to take spontaneous day trips. Post kids, it has become a bit of a challenge, especially during a pandemic, but we’re determined to doing it. This might mean: ❗️Naps are on the go; ❗️Excessive amounts of Wiggles during the drive; ❗️Lack of a healthy well-balanced meal or meals; ❗️A gazillion snack breaks; ❗️Tantrums & meltdowns - not captured in this picture, but I’m sure Aliza was crying because she wanted more ice cream - the audacity at 19 months old. You get the drift. It’s basically a day without any routine or structure and that’s okay!
