I’ve talked a lot about my c-birth experiences here before. For a while after the birth of my first, I was extremely angry at my body because I felt like it “let me down” - having an emergency c-birth was definitely not in my birth plan. I felt defeated & disappointed with myself. Wake up call: EVERY BIRTH IS UNIQUE & BEAUTIFUL! C-births are not the easy way out. My body DID what it needed to: deliver my babies in whatever form that might’ve been, in this case a c-birth. I celebrate my scar today x 2 because it was the pathway for my babies, my little warriors, to enter this world.
