They say it takes a village to raise children and support families. But what happens when there’s a lack of a village? What happens when families are at their wits end? Who do they turn to? I’ve been talking to a lot of moms and dads about the concept of a village. Many of us are struggling. What really hit my heart is when my friend Alex from tinymarvels shared an article about CHEO seeing an increase in the number of cases related to infant injuries. I feel for the new parents, the seasoned parents, the single parents, all of you. This is NOT to shame anyone. This is to recognize and acknowledge that we need to step up here.
