A lunch box. A Frozen themed lunch box. That’s what made me breakdown. The thought of her possibly not attending school in the next few weeks breaks me. We were all looking forward to this milestone moment: starting kindergarten. Joining a community. To be a kid. The growth. The exploring. Just everything. . At home, we’ve been speaking about school often to prepare her, and all she’s been asking for is: a Frozen lunch box to take to school. So, earlier this week, while running a quick errand I came across one, a Frozen lunch box; and you know what I did, I bought the damn lunch box - irrespective of if she’s going to school or not. This was the one thing she was so excited about. A lunch box. And I couldn’t disappoint. Already as a parent, there’s a lot of f*cking (sorry, mom) guilt during this pandemic.
