Behind every picture is a story. I saw Amia walking the abandoned train tracks and thought I’d capture this moment of stillness. And sometimes, pictures are deceiving; they may allude to a particular narrative but in reality, there’s more depth and consideration that needs to be understood. What you don’t see in this picture: a mom behind the camera worried for her children, a dad’s frustration, a crying infant in the carrier who wants to be let out. And this is why it’s so important that every story deserves to be heard...
