Here’s a little #throwback. Even though my dad jokes about being interviewed for one of my vlogs, I know deep down he’s just waiting for the day I ask him to record a chat. So, stay tuned, Dad. . If you haven’t guessed it yet, I’m back here talking about dad’s. Based on my own experiences (and witnessing it now with Amia + Aliza and Matt), dad’s hold a unique love and bond with their children. Let’s be real, they get the fun card. . But we’re also discovering that they face their own challenges and battles in fatherhood. They’re managing different expectations. They’re fostering a different type of growth. Society has always portrayed dad’s as being the bread-winners. That they don’t offer a hand in the kitchen or wake up with mom’s to help with a feed or change a diaper. Let’s stop this perception and break out of the traditional norms. We know dad’s are doing a lot more, and it’s time we give them an opportunity to share their piece. .
