Forget reflecting on this past year, let’s just take a second to remind ourselves there’s a whole decade we’re putting behind us. . My biggest most rewarding accomplishment this past decade: becoming a mama. . No degree, no promotion at work, no award or praise has been remotely close to self-fulfillment as much as becoming a mama has been. . Whatever I do, I do for my two little warriors. I fight the everyday battles to give them a life full of fairness, justice, and most importantly to make sure they have a voice. My job is to teach them there are no boundaries or limitations to achieve their dreams. Today, they are little girls; fast forward to 10 years and society will label them as young women. .
