Rachael Dorsey, MOT, ORT/L, an occupational therapist at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases discussed the basics about pelvic floor therapy and the benefits for people living with Parkinson’s at the 2023 PD Symposium on May 13th.
Pelvic floor therapy focuses on strengthening the muscles in the pelvic floor region, which can improve bladder control, reduce urinary symptoms and enhance overall quality of life.
