Billboard recognized the Latina pioneers and superstars at the 2026 Latin Women in Music ceremony, which recognizes “the achievements of female artists from around the globe,” last night. Ivy Queen, who received the Pioneer Award, Julieta Venegas, who received the Artistic Excellence Award, Young Miko, who received the Unstoppable Award, and Becky G, who received the Global Impact Award, were among the mujeres who were honored at the show. In an interesting twist, Billboard honored Rosalía as the 2026 Woman of the Year and described her as “a cultural force” who “pushed the boundaries of Spanish-language music.” Though the Spanish singer did not attend the show due to her ongoing “LUX Tour,” she thanked Billboard in a video speech.
