We have it on good authority that this DC film is officially canned, for now at least. #TheAuthority movie, based on the comic book squadron known as "the anti-Justice League," is shelved for the time being, studio co-head #JamesGunn confirmed on Monday. The film was first announced in January 2023 as part of Gunn's overall vision for the DCU across TV and film. At the time, he described it as "a big movie" and "a passion project of mine."
