Last week, I went to Capitol Hill to share my story as an artist and advocate for the American Music Fairness Act with soundexchange team. Music doesn’t exist without the people who create it, and it matters that our voices are part of the conversation in rooms where decisions are made. Artists are currently trying to fix a loophole in US law that prevents radio from paying the people who perform the music, globally.
