During #NationalVolunteerWeek earlier this month, our President & CEO Beth Hillman hosted our annual Volunteer Thank You Ceremony, joined by special guest speaker Paul “Paulie” Veneto of PauliesPush, to celebrate volunteer contributions over the past year. At the ceremony, we recognized all volunteers, those celebrating milestone years of service, as well as the upcoming 15th anniversary of our Volunteer Program. As we wrap up #GlobalVolunteerMonth, we reflect on the power of volunteerism to touch the lives of many. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum would not be able to further our mission to #NeverForget911 without the incredible support and dedication of our volunteers. Bringing a set of skills as diverse as New York City itself, our volunteers play a crucial role in connecting visitors to the history of our site.
