What is Denim Day?👖 The day we all wear denim in solidarity with survivors to start conversations for change and to end sexual assault. The movement was sparked by a 1998 court ruling that infamously claimed a person’s clothing, like “tight denim jeans,” could be seen as giving consent and therefore justify sexual assault, logic that we know is deeply wrong. Since then, Denim Day has grown into a global protest to prove that consent is never defined by what someone wears.
