Another passion of mine is poetry! ♥️ I have written it for decades and find that the main time I write it is when I am sad or going through sad times. I have found it very therapeutic. ✍️ I wrote a poem for my Mom when she had dementia and it is now at poetry.com. It is titled ‘Today She Forgot My Name.’ Dementia is a heartbreaking disease. I try not to think about the last few months of her life. The disease that took her. At times it was unbearable 😞 But, I wanted to share this poem. If you haven’t experienced it, be glad!
