One of the most important KPI’s we test and track for our athletes is their ability to dorsiflex - in other words, how far can you drive your knee past your toes while maintaining heel contact with the ground.
✖️
Numerous studies in the past 40 years have conclusively shown that a lack of dorsiflexion is one of the largest risk factors for all lower body injuries - feet, ankles, knees, hips, and even low back. And on the other side of that spectrum, a healthy degree of dorsiflexion seemed to be correlated with the athletes with the least amount of lower body injuries.

That all being said, we take this and hundreds of other factors into consideration when assessing + training all of our athletes.
✖️
No one athlete is the same as another. Like a finger print, they are all unique and in the case of coaching and making them better, they all need training tailored to their needs, restrictions, and shortcomings to reach their highest potential.

That’s why we are “Built Better” 🙏🏼
