Today was truly an amazing day as I received a resolution from the City of Philadelphia in honor of National Volunteer Month. While many see the work I do on camera, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes and I genuinely love every part of it. Whether it’s through my business, my line of work, my podcast, my basketball nonprofit, my community of grieving daughters, or simply showing up for a friend, a church, or a local organization. I’m always willing to lend a hand. My mom used to say, “You never know who’s watching you.” When I was younger, I didn’t fully understand it but as I’ve grown, I see exactly what she meant. I want to sincerely thank ninaforphilly and teacherbrownspeaks even mentioning my name in the room and submitting me for this recognition. That means more than you know.
