Ferry rides across Long Island Sound are getting more expensive as operators raise prices due to rising fuel costs. The Cross Sound Ferry, Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Ferry have added fuel surcharges and increased fares. Adult walk-on tickets and vehicle prices are going up, with some changes taking effect May 1.
