LIONS WALLOP EAGLES: The jserra.baseball team won its’ third straight game on Wednesday, as the Lions surged past the Santa Margarita Eagles by a score of 13-3 in a Trinity League contest at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita. JSerra struck for three runs with two outs in the top of the first inning. Junior Ayden Coleman slapped an RBI double to right field to score sophomore Owen Mescall, who led off the game with a walk. Two pitches later, senior Brise Boop launched a two-run homerun to left field, his fifth long ball of the season. The Eagles tallied a run in the bottom of the first inning, but the Lions produced another big two-out rally in the top of the third inning. Freshman Joey Koenig doubled to center field and was driven in with a run-scoring double to left field off the bat of junior Aiden Rae to make it 4-1.
