To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we asked artist tk.hwang to create a one-of-a-kind piece inspired by a shared love of the sea and its life-giving energy. “La Mer’s ethos is centered around energy, water, movement and healing,” she says. “In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, I wanted to create an Asian-inspired ocean landscape. The oceans are an integral part of how the world functions, connecting the world’s diverse nations and cultures.
