🏃‍♂️ How Good is a Sub-2 Marathon REALLY? (Compared to Other World Records) Sebastian Sawe just ran an unbelievable 1:59:30 marathon, but how does that performance stack up against other legendary world records like Usain Bolt’s 100m, Rudisha’s 800m, or El Guerrouj’s mile? Obviously, there’s no perfect way to compare sprinting to distance running — every event has its own challenges. But in this video, I used the World Athletics Points Calculator to give us a more objective way to compare performances across events. Using Sawe’s marathon world record score of 1328 points, I looked at what times would be needed in other events to match that same score. 📌 Events compared in this video: 100m 200m 400m 800m Mile 5000m 10,000m Some of these comparisons are honestly insane. 💬 Let me know in the comments: Do you think the World Athletics scoring system is fair? Which comparison surprised you the most? Thanks for watching — see you in the next one. ✌️ #running #trackandfield #marath...
