Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL made his WWE NXT debut on Tuesday, confronting NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo in a dark arena reveal at the Capitol Wrestling Center. The lights went out during D’Angelo’s promo. EVIL emerged, went face to face with D’Angelo, and handed him a shirt marked with kanji for “war” before exiting without speaking. Tavion Heights then attacked D’Angelo with a belly-to-belly suplex. UK indie standout Will Kroos followed with a moonsault from the crowd. Myles Borne retained the North American Championship over Saquon Shugars. Tristan Angels, Kam Hendrix, Tate Wilder, and Lizzy Rain all debuted. Shiloh Hill upset Ricky Saints in his final NXT match. NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice was ambushed by The Culling before Mr. Iguana made the save. HBK told D’Angelo: “You wanted this.
