We’re Honored to Celebrate Sam Allen on his 90th Birthday! Sam is a Norfolk native who played in the Negro League for the Kansas City Monarchs, Raleigh Tigers, and Memphis Red Sox. Mr. Allen is a pioneer for the baseball world and also served in the US Army 82nd Airborne after being drafted to the military in 1960! To a living legend, Happy Birthday from the Norfolk Tides!
