I haven’t bought many books this year so I thought Independent Bookstore Day would be a perfect day to spend some money. I wasn’t familiar with the bookstores across the 757 so the Hampton Roads Indie Bookstore Crawl helped A LOT. The book crawl has 20 different stores ranging from pop ups to brick & mortars. I was able to hit 9 bookstores on Saturday. The crawl features a raffle prize if you visit at least 12 stores so I have a few more stops to make if I want to be entered. Luckily, the crawl last from April 25th to May 3 so I have some time. Anyway, I’m excited about my haul. I bought a mixture of new books, books on my TBR and books I’ve already read but needed for my shelf. Thanks @hrindiebookstorecrawl for hosting!
