#GreenRooms presents kaleyroshitsh , sustainability editor at wwd! We’re discussing her recent article about PFAS and other toxins found in period care, how to avoid them, and our clean alternatives🩸 PFAS are a class of chemicals known for their toxicity and potential to harm human health and the environment. While there is still a lot unknown about these toxins, they are commonly found in consumer goods such as non-stick cookware, food packaging, and many fabrics. Studies have linked exposure to PFAS to a range of health problems, including cancer, liver damage, immune system dysfunction, and developmental delays. PFAS are also present in our bodies, food, and water supply. Because of this, they can’t be avoided entirely, but with the right information there are many steps we can take to limit our exposure. Tune in to learn more about this problem and what you can do about it! #GreenRooms
