Portland Mayor Keith Wilson thanks first responders for their quick work on the fatal crash into Multnomah Athletic Club on Saturday morning. Some of the devices detonated and some did not, the sources who spoke to The Oregonian/OregonLive said. Emergency responders extinguished the blaze around 3 a.m. The ground floor of the building was “completely destroyed” and “will be millions of dollars in damages,” said the source, who requested anonymity because the investigation is still ongoing.
