Self-driving car service Waymo on Tuesday said it’s coming to Portland and will begin mapping out the city for its vehicles, using human drivers. Waymo is a subsidiary of Google’s parent company, Alphabet. The car service already operates in 11 U.S. markets, including Los Angeles, Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay Area. Waymo has set plans to begin serving 21 other markets, including Seattle, Sacramento and San Diego.
