Replying to @Sacramento History Museum We show a lot of letterpress printing in our videos but not a lot of the clean up. We normally use 1K kerosene as a solvent but this video is different, because we get a lot of inquiries from viewers about cleaning with products like @Grip Clean​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠. In this video, Jared shows cleaning the 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press using one Grip Clean hand wipe. This was after a press run using blue rubber base ink. Grip Clean also helps keep our hands clean in our print shop exhibit. It normally takes about 3 minutes to clean the press. #SacHistoryMuseum #gripclean #clean #cleaning #printingpress
