Chicago police say a Kia sedan, driven by a 34-year-old woman with three occupants, was traveling west on Irving Park Road when it struck a light-colored Volkswagen sedan traveling in the same direction. The Kia then struck a tree nearby, and the Volkswagen struck a residential building, officials confirmed. Police say the driver of the Volkswagen then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
